Bathroom & Kitchen Remodel Plumbing in Central Maryland

One Contractor for the Whole Job

A bathroom or kitchen remodel involves more than picking out tile and fixtures. Behind the walls, the plumbing has to work with the new layout, and that takes a licensed plumber. Bailey Bros. handles full-scope remodels, including plumbing rough-in, tile work, flooring, and cabinetry, for homes across Harford County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Baltimore City.

Not sure which service you need?

Your Remodel Starts With the Plumbing

Drain lines need to be relocated. Supply lines need to be rerouted. Valves, vents, and connections need to meet current Maryland plumbing code. If the plumbing isn’t right, nothing else in the remodel works the way it should. That’s why your remodel plumber matters as much as your tile selection.

Bailey Bros. Plumbing & Drain Services handles full bathroom remodel plumbing and kitchen remodel plumbing for homes across Central Maryland. We’re not just the plumbing subcontractor. We handle the full scope: plumbing rough-in, tile work, flooring installation, and cabinetry installation. One contractor, one crew, one schedule. No coordinating between a plumber, a tile installer, a flooring company, and a cabinet guy.

According to U.S. Census data, over 1.1 million homes across the five counties we serve have a median construction year ranging from 1948 in Baltimore City to 1989 in Howard County. Many of these homes have original plumbing layouts, outdated fixtures, and pipe materials that are past their useful life. A remodel is the ideal time to upgrade the plumbing along with the finishes, and doing both at once saves time, money, and disruption.

Our team is led by a licensed Master Plumber with 28 years of experience. Every remodel is backed by a 1-year labor warranty on the plumbing work. Financing is available through Wisetack. We serve residential customers across Harford County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Baltimore City.

Signs It's Time to Remodel

Bathroom Fixtures Are Dated and Failing

Corroded faucets, a cracked tub, a toilet that runs constantly, and grout that's stained beyond cleaning. When multiple fixtures are failing at once, a full bathroom gut renovation makes more sense than patching one thing at a time.

Kitchen Plumbing Doesn't Match Your Layout

The sink is in the wrong spot. There's no dishwasher hookup. The garbage disposal leaks. If your kitchen was designed around a layout that doesn't work for your household, a kitchen remodel with proper plumbing relocation solves it.

You Want to Add a Bathroom

Adding a bathroom to a basement, a spare room, or an addition requires plumbing rough-in from scratch: drain tie-in, supply lines, and ventilation. This is new construction plumbing work, and it needs to be done to code.

Your Bathroom Isn't Accessible

Standard bathtubs can be difficult for seniors and anyone with mobility concerns. A tub to shower conversion or an ADA toilet installation makes the space safer and more usable. Accessibility remodels are among our most common projects.

There's Mold or Water Damage Behind the Walls

If you've discovered water damage or mold growth behind bathroom or kitchen walls, a remodel is often the only way to fully address the problem. We handle the plumbing repair, water damage remediation, and rebuild in one scope.

You're Selling and the Bathrooms Need Updating

Outdated bathrooms and kitchens are the first thing buyers notice. A targeted remodel with modern fixtures, tile, and finishes can significantly improve your home's appeal and value.

Types of Remodels We Handle

Full Bathroom
Gut Renovation

Strip to the studs. Rebuild from scratch. Plumbing rough-in, new drain and supply lines, shower or tub installation, toilet, vanity, tile work, flooring installation, and cabinetry installation. Everything from demo to finished bathroom.

Full Kitchen Gut
Renovation

Relocate the sink, dishwasher, and ice maker line to a new layout. Run a gas line for a new range. Install new cabinetry, countertops, tile backsplash, and flooring. We handle all plumbing for new kitchen configurations alongside the finished work

Bathroom Addition
(Basement or New Space)

Adding a bathroom where one doesn't exist requires plumbing for a new bathroom from scratch. Drain tie-in, supply lines, shower or tub, toilet, and vanity. Basement bathroom plumbing may require an ejector pump if the bathroom sits below the sewer line.

Fixture Conversion or Upgrade

Not every remodel is a full gut. A tub to shower conversion, a shower to tub conversion, a double vanity plumbing upgrade, or a walk-in shower installation can transform a bathroom without rebuilding the entire room. We handle the plumbing conversion and all finish work.

Why Hire a Plumber Who Does the Whole Remodel

One Contractor, One Schedule

When the same team handles plumbing, tile, flooring, and cabinetry, there's no waiting on a separate trade to show up before the next phase can start. One schedule. One point of contact. Faster completion.

The Plumbing Gets Done Right the First Time

General contractors often subcontract the plumbing to whoever is available. When a licensed remodel plumber leads the project, the plumbing isn't an afterthought. Drains are properly sloped. Venting is correct. Supply lines are properly routed. The finishes go over a plumbing system that's been done to code.

Upgrade Pipes While the Walls Are Open

If you have polybutylene, galvanized, or CPVC piping behind the walls you're opening, the remodel is the ideal time to repipe. You avoid paying to open and close the same walls twice.

Licensed, Insured, and Code-Compliant

In Maryland, all plumbing work must be performed by a licensed plumber. Performing plumbing work without a license carries penalties up to $5,000 per violation. Every remodel we complete is done to Maryland plumbing code and backed by a 1-year labor warranty.

Financing Available

A full remodel is a significant investment. We offer financing through Wisetack with easy approvals and flexible terms for all credit levels. Get the remodel your home needs without putting the full cost on a credit card.

What a Bailey Bros. Remodel Includes

Whether it’s a bathroom or a kitchen, here’s what’s included in a full-scope remodel with Bailey Bros.

The project starts with a site visit and detailed estimate. We assess the existing plumbing, discuss your layout goals, and walk through fixture and finish options. Once the scope is set, we handle demos, plumbing rough-in (drain relocation, supply rerouting, valve and vent work), and any gas line installation needed for kitchen appliances. After the plumbing is inspected, we move to finish work: tile, flooring, cabinetry installation, fixture installation, and final connections. We clean up when we’re done.

For plumbing-only scope, we handle everything behind the walls and under the floors, then hand off to your general contractor or other trades for the finish work. We coordinate with your team and make sure the rough-in is done right and ready for the next phase.

Common plumbing tasks in a remodel include relocating plumbing fixtures (sink, toilet, shower, tub) to new positions, moving drain locations, moving water supply lines, running new gas lines for ranges and ovens, installing dishwasher plumbing and ice maker lines, and tying in new drains for basement bathroom additions. We handle kitchen sink relocation, double vanity plumbing, walk-in shower plumbing, and every other fixture configuration your layout requires.

Remodel Questions

Do you handle just the plumbing, or the full remodel?

Both. We offer full-scope remodels including plumbing, tile, flooring, and cabinetry, or plumbing-only scope if you already have other contractors handling the finishes.

Cost depends on the scope. A fixture upgrade is on the lower end, while a full gut renovation with tile, flooring, and cabinetry is a larger investment. We provide a detailed estimate after a site visit. Financing is available through Wisetack.

Yes. Basement bathroom plumbing is one of our most common remodel projects. If the bathroom is below the sewer line, we install an ejector pump to handle drainage. We handle the full scope from rough-in to finished fixtures.

Yes. Moving a sink, toilet, shower, or tub to a new position requires rerouting drain and supply lines, which is standard remodel plumbing work for us. We assess feasibility during the estimate.

Yes. Full bathroom gut renovations and kitchen gut renovations include tile work, flooring installation, and cabinetry installation alongside the plumbing. One contractor handles everything.

A full bathroom gut renovation typically takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on the size and scope. Simpler projects like a tub to shower conversion can be completed in less time. We give you a realistic timeline during the estimate.

Yes. We hold Maryland License #74826. Our team includes a licensed Master Plumber and a Master Gas Fitter. We are fully insured, backflow certified, and ABC Plumbing members. Every remodel project is done to Maryland plumbing code.
