Not sure which service you need?

A Licensed Plumber for the Everyday Fixes

We’re not a handyman service. We’re a licensed plumbing company led by a Master Plumber with 28 years of experience. In Maryland, performing plumbing work without a license carries fines up to $5,000 per violation. When you hire Bailey Bros. for a faucet repair or a garbage disposal replacement, you get the same level of professionalism and code compliance that we bring to a sewer main installation.

For homes built before 1986, the EPA notes that older fixtures are more likely to contain lead. Replacing aging faucets and supply lines isn’t just about stopping a drip. It can also reduce lead exposure in your drinking water.

Every repair is backed by a 1-year labor warranty. We serve homes across all five counties. Financing is available through Wisetack for larger repair projects.

What's Going On?

Dripping Faucet That Won't Stop

A worn cartridge, a damaged O-ring, a corroded valve seat, or a loose packing nut. Any one of these can cause a faucet to drip constantly. It sounds minor, but a steady drip wastes thousands of gallons a year and often gets worse. Usually a same-visit fix.

Garbage Disposal Humming but Not Spinning

The motor is getting power but the flywheel is stuck. Could be a jammed impeller, a tripped reset button, or a burned-out motor. If it resets and runs, it's a jam we can clear on-site. If the motor is dead, replacement is the better option.

Low Water Pressure at One Faucet

A clogged aerator, a partially closed shutoff valve, or a corroded supply line. If pressure is low at just one fixture, the problem is usually localized and quick to fix. If pressure is low throughout the house, repiping or water line repair may be needed.

Shower Not Draining

Hair, soap buildup, or a blocked drain assembly. If the shower drains slowly after every use, the clog is usually in the trap or the branch line. Professional drain cleaning clears it and checks whether the drain assembly itself needs repair.

Outdoor Spigot Leaking or Frozen

A cracked pipe behind the wall, a failed vacuum breaker, or a frozen hose bib. If it's frozen or burst, that's a frozen pipe emergency. If it leaks in warm weather, outdoor spigot repair or replacement is a same-visit fix.

Bathtub Faucet Leaking

A worn cartridge or stem, a damaged seat washer, or a corroded valve body. If the cartridge is replaceable, it's a straightforward repair. If the valve body is corroded, a full shower valve replacement may be needed.

Repair Services We Handle

Faucets
& Sinks

Dripping faucets, broken handles, low pressure at the tap, leaking supply lines, and corroded drain assemblies. We repair and replace kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, laundry faucets, and sinks. If the faucet is beyond repair, we handle full faucet replacement and sink installation, including drain connections and supply lines.

Garbage
Disposals

Jammed, leaking from the bottom, humming but not spinning, or just worn out. We diagnose the issue on-site and either repair or replace the unit the same day. We also install garbage disposals in homes that don't have one, including the electrical and plumbing connections.

Showers &
Bathtubs

Leaking shower valves, dripping tub faucets, low pressure in the shower, failed shower cartridges, and drains that won't keep up. We repair and replace shower valves, cartridges, tub spouts, diverters, and drain assemblies. If you're converting a tub to a walk-in shower or upgrading fixtures as part of a remodel, we handle that too.

Outdoor Spigots & Hose Bibs

Maryland weather takes a toll on outdoor plumbing. Leaking spigots, frozen hose bibs, cracked pipes behind the wall, and spigots that won't shut off completely. We install and repair standard and frost-free outdoor spigots and can add new hose connections where they don't currently exist.

Why Hire a Licensed Plumber for Small Repairs

Code Compliance on Every Job

Even a faucet replacement involves connections to your home's water supply. A licensed plumber ensures the work meets Maryland code, which protects your home and your warranty. A handyman might stop the drip, but that doesn't mean the work is done right.

Diagnose the Real Problem

A dripping faucet might be a worn cartridge. Or it might be a sign of high water pressure damaging fixtures throughout the house. A licensed plumber looks beyond the surface symptom and identifies whether the fix is a part swap or something bigger.

One Visit, One Fix

We arrive with common parts and the tools to handle most repairs the same visit. No ordering parts and scheduling a return trip. Most general plumbing repairs are completed in a single appointment.

1-Year Labor Warranty

Every repair we perform is backed by a 1-year warranty. If something we fixed isn't right, we come back and make it right. That applies to every job, from a faucet cartridge to a full fixture replacement.

We See the Bigger Picture

When we're in your home for a faucet repair, we notice things a handyman wouldn't. Corroded supply lines. An aging water heater. A toilet that's wasting water. We mention it, give you honest advice, and let you decide. No pressure, just information.

What to Expect From a Repair Call

When you call Bailey Bros. for a general repair, we ask what’s going on so we can arrive prepared with the right parts and tools. On-site, we diagnose the problem, explain what we found, and give you upfront pricing before any work begins.

Most general repairs are completed in one visit. Faucet cartridge replacements, garbage disposal swaps, shower valve repairs, outdoor spigot replacements, and sink installations are all typically same-day work. If a repair turns out to be more involved than expected, we explain why before proceeding and adjust the scope with your approval.

We also handle full fixture upgrades. If you’re replacing a kitchen faucet, upgrading a bathroom sink, or installing a new garbage disposal in a home that’s never had one, we handle the plumbing connections, mounting, and testing. For larger projects like a tub-to-shower conversion or a bathroom remodel, we handle the full scope including tile and finish work.

For homes with older plumbing, a repair call sometimes reveals broader issues: corroded galvanized supply lines, deteriorating shutoff valves, or polybutylene piping that’s at risk of failure. When we see it, we let you know. You decide what to do about it and when.

General Repair Questions

Should I repair or replace my faucet?

If the faucet is relatively new and the issue is a worn cartridge or O-ring, repair makes sense. If it’s corroded, outdated, or you’re dealing with repeated leaks, replacement is the better long-term value. We give you an honest recommendation.

Cost varies by the type of repair. A faucet cartridge swap costs less than a full shower valve replacement. We provide upfront pricing before work begins. Financing is available through Wisetack for larger projects.

Both. We handle faucet installation, sink installation, garbage disposal installation, shower and bathtub installation, and outdoor spigot installation. Whether you’re replacing something broken or upgrading as part of a remodel, we handle the plumbing.

In most cases, yes. A jammed disposal is usually a quick on-site repair. If the motor has failed or the unit is leaking from the housing, replacement is the better option. We can typically install a new unit the same day.

Yes. Shower cartridge replacement and shower valve replacement are two of our most common repair calls. If your shower is dripping, won’t hold temperature, or has low pressure, the cartridge or valve is usually the cause.

Yes. A frost-free spigot shuts off the water supply inside the heated wall cavity rather than at the exterior, which prevents freezing. We install frost-free models and replace older spigots that are prone to bursting in Maryland winters.

We serve Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, including Bel Air, Aberdeen, Towson, Dundalk, Baltimore, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Columbia, and the Greater Baltimore area.

Yes. Every repair comes with a 1-year labor warranty. If something we repaired isn’t right, we come back and fix it. That applies to every job, from a faucet cartridge to a full fixture installation.
