What's Going On?
A worn cartridge, a damaged O-ring, a corroded valve seat, or a loose packing nut. Any one of these can cause a faucet to drip constantly. It sounds minor, but a steady drip wastes thousands of gallons a year and often gets worse. Usually a same-visit fix.
The motor is getting power but the flywheel is stuck. Could be a jammed impeller, a tripped reset button, or a burned-out motor. If it resets and runs, it's a jam we can clear on-site. If the motor is dead, replacement is the better option.
A clogged aerator, a partially closed shutoff valve, or a corroded supply line. If pressure is low at just one fixture, the problem is usually localized and quick to fix. If pressure is low throughout the house, repiping or water line repair may be needed.
Hair, soap buildup, or a blocked drain assembly. If the shower drains slowly after every use, the clog is usually in the trap or the branch line. Professional drain cleaning clears it and checks whether the drain assembly itself needs repair.
A cracked pipe behind the wall, a failed vacuum breaker, or a frozen hose bib. If it's frozen or burst, that's a frozen pipe emergency. If it leaks in warm weather, outdoor spigot repair or replacement is a same-visit fix.
A worn cartridge or stem, a damaged seat washer, or a corroded valve body. If the cartridge is replaceable, it's a straightforward repair. If the valve body is corroded, a full shower valve replacement may be needed.

Faucet cartridge replacements, garbage disposal swaps, shower valve repairs, outdoor spigot replacements, and sink installations are all typically same-day work. If a repair turns out to be more involved than expected, we explain why before proceeding and adjust the scope with your approval.
We also handle full fixture upgrades. If you’re replacing a kitchen faucet, upgrading a bathroom sink, or installing a new garbage disposal in a home that’s never had one, we handle the plumbing connections, mounting, and testing. How much do general plumbing repairs cost?

Do you install new fixtures, or just repair existing ones?
Both. We handle faucet installation, sink installation, garbage disposal installation, shower and bathtub installation, and outdoor spigot installation. Whether you’re replacing something broken or upgrading as part of a remodel, we handle the plumbing.
Can you fix a garbage disposal that's jammed?
In most cases, yes. A jammed disposal is usually a quick on-site repair. If the motor has failed or the unit is leaking from the housing, replacement is the better option. We can typically install a new unit the same day.
Do you replace shower cartridges and valves?
Yes. Shower cartridge replacement and shower valve replacement are two of our most common repair calls. If your shower is dripping, won’t hold temperature, or has low pressure, the cartridge or valve is usually the cause.
Can you install a frost-free outdoor spigot?
Yes. A frost-free spigot shuts off the water supply inside the heated wall cavity rather than at the exterior, which prevents freezing. We install frost-free models and replace older spigots that are prone to bursting in Maryland winters.
