Bailey Bros. Plumbing & Drain Services is a family-owned company based in Edgewood, MD. Owner Ray Bailey has been in the plumbing industry for 28 years. He started from the ground up and built this company on the belief that quality workmanship and treating people right is what keeps a business going. That applies to customers and to the team.
Our work covers the full range of residential and commercial plumbing across Harford County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Baltimore City. You won’t be doing the same job every day. You’ll be building real skills across every aspect of the trade, from drain cleaning and water heater installation to sewer main replacement and water damage remediation.

Open Positions
Licensed Plumber
Experienced plumbers with a Maryland journey man or master plumber license. Comfortable running jobs independently, including diagnostics, repair, installation, and customer communication. Residential and commercial experience preferred. Gas fitter or backflow certification is a plus
Plumbing Apprentice
Working toward your license and looking for a company that will invest in your development. You work alongside experienced plumbers on real jobs, not sitting in a warehouse. In Maryland, earning a journey plumber license requires 7,500 hours of supervised training as a registered apprentice under a master plumber. Trade school enrollment or completion is a plus.
Plumber's Helper
New to the trade or exploring plumbing as a career. You assist our plumbers on job sites: carrying materials, prepping work areas, cleaning up, and learning the basics. No experience required. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to show up and learn.

Where You'll Work
Most of our work falls along the I-95 corridor, from Bel Air and Aberdeen in Harford County through Towson, Dundalk, and Middle River in Baltimore County, across Baltimore City, down to Annapolis, Severna Park, and Glen Burnie in Anne Arundel County, and out to Columbia, Elkridge, and Laurel in Howard County. You’ll spend your days working in the communities you know.

What experience do I need to apply?
Licensed plumber roles require a Maryland journeyman or master plumber license. Apprentice positions require a willingness to learn and ideally some trade school background. Plumber helper jobs require no prior experience.
Do you offer training?
We support apprentice development through on-the-job training and hands-on experience across every service we offer. We’re ABC Plumbing members and encourage trade school enrollment and continuing education.
What's the pay range?
Pay depends on your license level, experience, and role. The national median for plumbers was $62,970 in 2024, with top earners making over $105,000. We offer competitive wages for the Central Maryland market.
Is this year-round work?
Yes. Residential service, commercial contracts, emergency plumbing, and seasonal work like frozen pipe repair in winter and sump pump service in spring. There’s no off-season.

Across Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, along the I-95 corridor from Aberdeen to Laurel.

Is a valid driver's license required?
Preferred for most positions, especially licensed plumber roles that require driving to job sites independently. We discuss requirements for each position during the conversation.

Had these guys install a hot water heater for me. I bought the heater and they were gracious enough to install it. They were friendly, responsive and the least expensive after a comprehensive search. Significantly less expensive. They were thorough and explained everything. Shawn (my tech) was charming. Someone you’d be happy to go out and have a drink with. They have a 5 star rating. They ran a little late, but for the savings and quality of work, it was well worth it. The basement was a little cleaner after their work than before they arrived. I highly recommend them.
